It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn R. Ankner (Massapequa, New York), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lerner and Miriam Lerner; and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her sister Francine Stein; her children, Janice Sindone and Michael; and her grandchildren, Jayden and Corin Ankner.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at the James Funeral Home (540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery.
