We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 85, George S Smith of Massapequa, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his children, Kim Allstadt (Cliff), Nan Piccoli (Mike), Susan Weyer (Jim), Tim Smith (Leslie) and Michelle Martori (Eric); his grandchildren, Kyle, Billy, Emma, Hayley, Charlotte, Brandon and Alex; and his siblings, Patricia Fischer and William Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home (3863 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY 11783). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima RC Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Grace Church Cemetery (4755 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758).
