He is survived by: his wife Janet; his son Gerald Bayreuther; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Thomas and Ryan. He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
Gerald was known for his charity. 23 years ago, he lost his son, Eric, in a DWI accident which sparked his philanthropy for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
