In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lorraine leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lorraine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Williams and Mary Williams. She is survived by: her husband Peter F. Derasmo; and her children, Frank (Donna), Peter (Carole) and Dianne (Vincent Lima). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home - South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial will be held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
