Virginia Bossert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Bossert of Massapequa, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Bossert, Sr.; her son Philip Jr.; and her brother Charles Horak. She is survived by: her friend Julie; her children, David (Nancy), Caroline and Alison; her daughter-in-law Anita (Phil, Jr.); her sister Monica; her grandchildren, Sydney (Aurelién), Andrew (Katharine), Stephanie and Marlee; and her great grandchild Ada.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home (3863 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY 11783). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima RC Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Grace Church Cemetery (4755 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758).
