She was predeceased by : her parents, Rufus McElwain and Mildred McElwain (Martin); her husband Douglas A. Dumas of Joseph's Catholic Church; her grandchildren, Scott and Kari Tyo; her sons-in-law, Elroy Marti, Jr. and Gary Byington; her brother Gerald; and her sister-in-law Rita McElwain.
She is survived by : her daughters, Brenda Marti of Houston and Debra Byington of Massena; her grandchildren, Chad Marti (Lauren), Sarah Coghlan (Eamonn) and Eric Tyo (Jen) of Massena; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Harrison, Caroline, Conor and Molly.
In lieu of flowers those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to Trinity Catholic School Endowment Fund.
