He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LaBarge and Cora LaBarge (Steemburg); his son Darren J. LaBarge; and his siblings, Hilda Herne, Lawrence, Harlin and Hubert "Pete" LaBarge.

He is survived by: his children, Melanie Regan (Michael) of Colton and Donald W. LaBarge (Gabrielle) of Canton; his grandchildren, Thor Merrill (Emily) and Logan Felske; his great grandchild Ilah Jane Merrill; his stepgrandsons, Mike Regan and Jake Regan (Katie Ames); and his stepgreat-granddaughter Brooke Regan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
