He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Jackson and Ellen "Ella" R. Jackson (Dustin); his siblings, Robert Jackson and Elizabeth Jean Mainville; and his nephew Kenneth Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tillson Spanbauer; his daughters, Karen Behm (Joel) of Potsdam, Bonnie Diefendorf (Kevin) of Brownville and Judy Jackson of Massena; his grandchildren, Joshua (Jamie), Katelyn, Brian (Megan), Brittany (Robert), Emily and Nathan (Lamar); and his sister Joyce Smith of Westville. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to St. John's Episcopal Church, Westville Historical Organization, c/o 75 Moffitt Road, Plattsburgh, or his family will be establishing the Earl M. Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
