It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith A. Sherman (Massena, New York), born in Ogdensburg, New York, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester LaBaff and Ida LaBaff (Bylow); her husband Edward W. Sherman; her sons, Craig John and Danny J. Sherman; and her siblings, Darlene Richey, Lida Randall, Ida McCann and Chester LaBaff, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Janet (Paul Giametta), Randy Sherman of Mechanic Falls, Orpha (Charles LaPrade), Sammy (Lorraine Sherman), Kerry Sherman of Winthrop, Edith Sandaker of Brasher Falls, Christopher (Roberta Sherman) and Amy Hope (Brian Smith); her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Sherman of Newport News, Virginia; and her sister Debbie (Tim MacEwen). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
