He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Hampton and Nancy Hampton (Eamon); his stepson Robert C. Douglas; and his siblings, Ronald Hampton, Hope Cole and Connie Brownell.
He is survived by: his daughter Becky Clark of Brasher Falls; and his stepdaughters, Terry (Wayne Hanson) and Tammy (Randy Besio). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
