Gladys Arno Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 18, 2026, at the age of 81, Gladys Arno (Massena, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Gladys' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gladys has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Oakes and Snyder; and her siblings, Charles, Thomas, Melvin Oakes and Frances Oakes.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne E. Arno of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter Sheri Arno of Massena; and her siblings, Rita Braun, Theresa Krais, Florence Sacco and Martin Oakes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
