Malinda left this world on November 25, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Davd H. Underwood and Isabelle Underwood (Bickerstaffe); her husband Bernard L. Pitts; and her brother David. She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Pitts of Norfolk, Phillip Pitts (Kathy) of Massena, Charlamaine Mitchell of Massena and Rebecca Jenner (Timothy) of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Edward, Michael, Jeff, Belle, Angela, Duane, Jason, Erica, Morgan and MaeLynn. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (100 N Main St, Massena, NY 13662). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Malinda's memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence.
