It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Smith (Massena, New York), who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Smith and Mary Smith (Pelotte); his wife Phyllis J. Patnode; and his brother Howie Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Smith, Jr. of Massena and Steve Smith (Missy) of Massena; his grandchildren, Joshua Centrella (Kara) of Massena, Ashley Rochefort (Norm) of Massena, Austin Smith (Chantelle) of Winthrop and Aleisha Belile (Chris) of Sioux Falls, SD; his great grandchildren, Robert, Marcus, Maverick, Colton, Alex, Lily and Noah; and his siblings, Carol Rivard (Roy) of Massena and David Smith (Colleen) of Florida.
Donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Police Activities League of Massena, for empowering our youth, and strengthening our community.
