With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shawnee Red (Massena, New York), born in Syracuse, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harry and Wanda Joyce Lazore (Moore). He is survived by: his cousin Sway; his children, Alicia Lazore (Travis Walker) of Snohomish, Vidalia Lazore (Louis Pumarejo) of Syracuse and Shawn Michael Lazore Jr. of Syracuse; his granddaughter Viviana Pumarejo; and his siblings, Theresa Saumier, Cindy Burns, Barbara Lazore, John H. Lazore, Jr., Michelle Lazore and Timothy Lazore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (100 N Main St, Massena, NY 13662). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or the Partridge House Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center.
