He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Bombard and Violet Bombard (Lacombe); his great grandchild Aiden Riley; his brothers, Bruce P. and Ronald J. Bombard; his niece Rhonda M. Lawrence; his nephew-in-law Robert Waite; and his close friend Lyle Thatcher.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Connie Sleister; his children, Traci Greco of Buffalo and Trevor Bombard (Nicole) of Pittsburg; his stepchildren, Dale Olson (Patti) of Massena, Matthew Olson (Michelle) of Alabama and Kay Sleister (Miranda) of Massena; his grandchildren, Emily, Meghan, Mattison, Benjamin, Mason, Amber, Tyler, Ashlyn, Justin, Amanda, Matalyn, Jessica and Jordan; his sister Diane Bombard of Massena; his nieces and nephews, Sterling Bombard (Patricia), Bryan Bombard (Diane), Lisa Waite and Dawn Goodspeed (Craig); and his friends, Billy Dunkelburg and Mac Shoen. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (100 N Main St, Massena, NY 13662). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to the Boy Scouts of America or Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
