She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Phillips and Susan Phillips (Hemlock); her brothers, Terry Phillips (Mary Lou), Leslie, Allen and Bruce Phillips; her brother-in-law Edwin Benedict; and her godson Noah Point.
She is survived by: her daughter Tanya Oakes; her granddaughters, Alana Oakes McCumber, Allie Oakes McCumber (Louie David) and Brittany Oakes McCumber; her great grandchildren, Odin and Eden; her siblings, Sandra Phillips, Elizabeth "Betty" Benedict and Vaughn Phillips (Lynelle); her sisters-in-law, Florence and Irene Phillips; and her godchildren, Damon Oakes, Joni Sarah White and Cassandra Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (100 N Main St, Massena, NY 13662). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
