He was predeceased by: his parents, Young Hak and Jong Soo Kim. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Sunhee Lee; his children, Amy (David Lim), Michael (Elisabeth Kim), Virginia and Julie (Lawrence Kwon); his grandchildren, Charles, Alexandra Lim, Keira, Collette Kim, Lucas, Ella and Marcus Kwon; and his brothers, Jeung Yeul Kim of South Korea and Chun Soo Kim of South Korea. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Post retirement, Dr. Kim chose to donate all of his medical equipment to a church in Romania and selflessly traveled there on a medical missionary trip.
