We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 93, Carl A. Ritchie of Mattydale, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl A. Ritchie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ritchie and Freda Ritchie; his wife Betty Jean (Thompson); and his stepgranddaughter Jennifer Stoltz. He is survived by: his children, Carl Ritchie (Mary Beth) of Lakeland, Gary Ritchie (Sara Lee) of Marcellus and Lois Ritchie of Liverpool; his grandchildren, Jessica Ritchie (Jennifer) and Liam Ritchie; his stepgrandchildren, Jamie Patchett (Cory) and James Stoltz (Lynn); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rowan and Saige Patchett; and his sister Doreen Nash of Mattydale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, CNY Chapter, 5015 Campuswood Dr., Ste 102, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
