With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mangoldina Erkila of Mattydale, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Berger and Maria Berger; her husband Eero Erkila; her son Lenny; and her friend Luise Murray.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Marie Reuss (Karl); her granddaughters, Kimberly Rielly and Kirsten; her great grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Stephen and Nicki Rielly; and her godson Daniel Murray.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gang Memorial Chapel (104 Fordham Rd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
