She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jacobs and Helen Jacobs; and her brothers, James, Frank and Rocco.
She is survived by: her husband Earl J. May Jr.; her children, Scott May of Liverpool, Michelle White (Roger) of Central Square, Kelly Benz (Chris) of Mattydale, Lynn Hanlon (Chip) of Pulaski and Jennifer May (Tim Pauley) of Camillus; her siblings, Sandy Valerio (Mike) of Memphis, Walter John of Syracuse and Michael John (Loren) of East Syracuse; her grandchildren, Kayla, Myranda, Zachary, Ashley, Ashton and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Carter and Hunter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Krueger Funeral Home (2619 Brewerton Rd, Mattydale, NY 13211). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (940 Comstock Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210).
