He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nellis and Anna Nellis (Romaine); and his daughter Deborah A. Nellis (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Nellis (Snyder); his children, William J. Nellis, Susan M. Nellis (Terleckey) and James A. Nellis Jr.; his sister Charlotte Coger; and his daughter-in-law Lori E. Nellis.
