He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Frye and Edna Leasure Frye; his wife Hazel I. Dobson Frye; his son Stephen Frye; and his siblings, Emogene Griffith, Paul, Valgene and Donald Frye.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry Frye (Mary) of Rochester Mills, PA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Carlson (Spencer) of Mayville, Justin Frye (Kaitlyn) of Sherman and Julie (Steven); his great grandchildren, Eli, Callie, Dawson Barrett, Gannon, Everly Carlson and Lainee Frye; his daughter-in-law Shelly Frye of Mayville; and his sisters-in-law, Dortha Troup of Newton Falls, OH and Merry Frye of Ashville, NY.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A reception will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Panama Greenwood Cemetery.
