He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Long and Lillian Comstock Long; his wife Maxine Virginia "Ginny" Moss Long; his son Jeffery Long; and his sister Priscilla Long Eager.
He is survived by: his son Jerold Long (Christine) of Apollo Beach, FL; his daughter-in-law Beth Long of Farmington, NY; his grandchildren, Joshua Long (Shelley) of Mesquite, TX, Bryan Long (Molly) of Williamsville, NY, Amanda Moore (Ryan) of Brooksville, FL, Nathan Long (Gina) of Tallahassee, FL and Brent Long (Amy) of Fairport, NY; and his siblings, Donald Long of Panama, NY and Joan Franzen (Richard) of Jamestown, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
