He was predeceased by : his parents, Volney Dunbar and Laila Jones Dunbar; and his siblings, Willa Dean Burris and James Dunbar of Dawson Springs, KY.. He is survived by : his wife Clara Herzog Dunbar; his children, Clifford Dunbar of Miami, FL, Dominick Dunbar (Jacqui) of Stafford, VA, Brenda Rutten (Vince) of Tallahassee, FL. and Lisa Dunbar of Tallahassee, FL.; his grandchildren, Carl Horton (Lindsay), Anthony, Andrea Dunbar, Victoria Neill (Wesley), Nico, Veronica Wood (Ross) and Dante Dunbar; his great grandchildren, Austin Starky (Angelina), Luke, Logan and Lane Horton; and his niece Connie Whitemore.
