It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois M. Stroebel of Mayville, New York, born in Sherman, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Freeman and Corinne Barnhart Freeman; her husband George A. Stroebel; and her siblings, Rose Marie Freeman, Beverly Slawson and Pete Mead.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Yahtzee and Rummy; her friend Dorothy; her children, George Stroebel of Mayville, NY, LuAnn Wright (Steve) of Westfield, NY and Shelly Frye (Scott Raynor) of Mayville, NY; and her brother Thomas Freeman (Deanna) of Westfield, NY..
