We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2022, at the age of 91, James E. Munro of McDonough, New York, born in Swissdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Munro and Beatrice Heaton Munro; his daughter Denise Contri; and his siblings, Harry Munro, Jr., Gary Munro and Shirley Hahn.

He is survived by : his children, Linda Northrup (Randy) of McDonough and Edward "Buzzy" Munro (Cheryl) of Cincinnatus; his grandchildren, Annette Barrows of McDonough, Alan Blanchard of Cortland, Chad Contri of Marathon and Ed Munro (Emily) of Cincinnatus; his great grandchildren, Arianna Blanchard, Gavin Bush, Blade Barrows and Mackenzie Munro; and his sisters, Beverly Munro of Pennsylvania and Candace Winters of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of James may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
