He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Thurston and Irean Thurston (Hatton); his sister Florence Milk; and his wife Rebecca "Becky" Thurston. He is survived by: his daughter Justine Thurston; his brother Calvin (Carol Thurston); his uncle Wayne; and his aunt Mindy Eldred (family: JC Canidy, Beverly, Chester Vigus, Tommy Davis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul Thurston Memorial (1136 County Rd 5, McDonough, NY 13801). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Family Home (121 Bliven Sherman Rd, McDonough, NY 13801).
