The memory of Elaine C. Zirbel of McGraw, New York, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Corson and Anna Eberlin Corson; her husband Lloyd R. Zirbel; her son Brian E.; and her great grandchild Zacharey Tisdall.
She is survived by: her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Karen Zirbel of Auburn; her daughter Sally DeVoe (Carol Carey) of Florida; her grandchildren, Michael Zirbel, Kimberly Tisdall (Brian) and Miranda Dobbins (James); her great grandchildren, Caleb Zirbel, Tanner, Cody, Lydia, Jarrett and Maci Tisdall; and her brother Wallace Corson of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McGraw Rural Cemetery (52 W Academy St, McGraw, NY 13101). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the McGraw Cemetery (52 W Academy St, McGraw, NY 13101).
Memorial contributions are preferred to the Cortland County SPCA, McLean Road, Cortland, NY 1045.
