He is survived by: his wife Candice Thornton (Brown); his son Luke Thornton (Hilary) of McGraw; his stepdaughters, Crystal Noto of Horseheads and Nicole Reed of McGraw; his siblings, Bob Thornton (Glenda) of Cortland and Bonnie Kneedler of McGraw; his nephew Matthew "Bubba" Thornton of Cortland; and his friend Brian Hurlburt of Cincinnatus.
