Ann L. Racette Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann L. Racette (Mechanicville, New York), who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ponzillo and Concetta Ponzillo (Laurenzo); her husband Leo A. Racette; her son-in-law Dennis Holmes; her sister Antoinette Rocco; and her great-niece Gabriella Rocco.
She is survived by: her daughter LeeAnn Holmes of Cortlandt Manor, NY; and her grandchildren, Paul and Deanna Holmes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hudson Church (121 North Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Ann L. Racette.
