We bid farewell to John A. Cafararo (Mechanicville, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 28, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cafararo and Viola Favichio Cafararo; his wife Karen Sweatt Cafararo; and his siblings, Ann Cafararo, Connie Callahan and Anthony Cafararo.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Cafararo of Mechanicville, Lynn Cady (Eric) of Mechanicville and Jennifer Cafararo of Mechanicville; his grandchildren, Alyssa Cafararo, Haile Che (Keenan), Nicholas Cafararo, McKenna and John Cady; his great grandchildren, Knox and Mila Che; and his sister Carol Baker (Ken). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hudson South Church (121 North Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 310 S Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208 in loving memory of John A. Cafararo.
