With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert F. Leonard (Mechanicville, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his parents, Walter Leonard and Flora Webster; and his siblings, Marjorie Ward, Althea Lowell (Jimmy), Alton Leonard (Carmella) and Gerald Leonard (Gwen).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Leonard (Jessica), Michael Leonard (Jennifer) and Lori Burdo (Craig); his grandchildren, Allison Leonard, Kaylie Leonard, Madelyn Leonard, Brody Burdo, Sierra Leonard, Kaden Burdo, Raelin Leonard, Aubrey Burdo and Penny Leonard; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ellen DeMarco (Buckie) and Edward Yaksta (Viola). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 in memory of Robert F. Leonard.
