He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa L. Reddy. He is survived by: his wife Karen Shorter (Askins); his son Gregory M. Shorter; his granddaughter Kyleigh Shorter; and his siblings, William Shorter (Dawn) and Debra Dolan (Pat). He is also survived by extended family members, friends, and several nieces and nephews.
