With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara S. Thaxter of Medina, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony J. Stillwell and Alice Stillwell (Chambers); and her husband Col. David L. Thaxter, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, David Thaxter, Jr. (Kimberley) of Maryland, Stephen Thaxter (Jacqueline) of Maryland, Kenneth Thaxter (Cindy) of Maryland, Jennifer Riemer (Rob) of Medina and Suzanne Thaxter of Medina; and her sister Shirley Mancuso. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
