She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene W. Hungerford and Ruth A. Hungerford (Plumley). She is survived by: her husband Russell D. Young of Albion; her children, Scott Young (Lynda) of Tonawanda and Danell Vandegenachte (Edmund) of Albion; her grandchildren, Jared Vandegenachte, Ashley Vandegenachte-Narburgh (Jackson), Chantel Vandegenachte (Cameron Archuleta), Nina Gilhousen (Shaun), Andrew Ceniccola (Marissa) and Katelynn Young; her siblings, Maureen Martin (Robert), Harry and Mark Hungerford (Renee); and her close friend David Wasnock. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paws of Orleans County, Hospice of Orleans County, or the American Cancer Society.
