He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G. Berger and Caroline Berger (Ferguson); his wife Nancy W. Berger; his brother George Berger (Martha); and his brother-in-law Alan Wheeler.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Berger (Katie Houseknecht) of East Bethany and Bryan Berger of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Corey (Kyra), Nicole and Brenna Berger; his great grandchildren, Zuri and Avi Berger; and his sister-in-law Sandra Wheeler of Fairport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Shelby Community Bible Church (5278 E Shelby Rd, Medina, NY 14103).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Shelby Community Bible Church (address above) or the Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion, 305 Main St., Medina, NY 14103.
