Maria Distefano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Distefano of Medina, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio and Concetta Furnari (Di Stefano); and her husband Philip Distefano. She is survived by: her family Maria; her children, Joseph Distefano (Dorothy), Anthony Distefano (Loraine), Francine Johnston (Douglas) and Lynnet Millman (Scott); her grandchildren, Emily Clough (Aaron), David Johnston, Samuel Distefano, Jack Distefano (Courtney), Joseph Distefano, Danielle Distefano, Alexis Distefano and Isabella Millman; her great grandchild Logan Clough; and her siblings, Vincenzina and Vincenzo Furnari.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the Philip M. Distefano Library at the Oak Orchard Primary School, 335 W. Oak Orchard St., Medina, NY 14103.
