It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Yates of Medina, New York, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Yates and Florence Yates (White); his wife Christina A. Di Nardo; his great grandchild Landon Taylor; his siblings, Ronald "Jim" Yates, Robert "Bob" Yates (Donna), Francis "Dyke" Yates and Theresa "Peach" Keller (Kenneth); and his nephew Jimmy Yates.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather "Lilly" Weaver (Wade Mooreland); his grandchildren, Kaylee Weaver, Erik Weaver (Charity), Nicholas Weaver (Brianna Peterson), Erika Weaver and Patrick Taylor; his great grandchildren, Mason Taylor and Delilah Weaver; his sister Cathy "Pudge" Cotriss (Bill); and his sister-in-law Loreeta Yates. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
