He is survived by : his siblings, Betty Rogowski (Reinhard) of Medina, NY, Mark Merithew of Kent, NY and Betsy Merithew of Kent, NY; his daughters, Shelley Valentine of White Pine, TN and Jenifer Bush (Kevin) of Muskogee, OK; his grandchildren, William Valentine, Autumn, Jessica Shipman, Ashleigh Bolen II (Michael), Misteigh Melton and James Melton IV; and his great grandchild Jameson Bolen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
