With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice L. Collum of Melrose, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on September 21, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Alice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Coons and Charlotte Coons (Metcalfe); her husband Leo P. Collum; and her siblings, Lois Sheldon and Donald Coons.
She is survived by: her sisters, Beverly Boyce and Susan Wildberger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hoosic Valley Community Church (2024 NY-40, Schaghticoke, NY 12154). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoosic Valley Community Church in memory of Alice L. Collum.
