She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bandel and Mary Bandel; her husband John Kowalchyk; and her siblings, Warren Bandel and Dorothy Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Ann; her grandson Connor Weeks; her sister Helen Campigno; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Bandel and Connie Kowalchyk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Elsie to the Melrose Methodist Church.
