With sadness, we share the passing of John W. Isbell of Memphis, New York. John, born on September 4, 1941, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Eunice. He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Kit"; his children, Michael of Memphis and Connie Isbell of Long Branch, NJ; his son-in-law Eric Nathanson of Long Branch, NJ; his granddaughters, Alice Nathanson of Long Branch, NJ and Lila Nathanson of Philadelphia, PA; and his brother Richard Isbell (Candace) of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
