He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Bertram and Opal Drew. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gay; his daughter Charmel Trinidad (John); his grandchildren, Julie DeStefano (Matthew), Michael Trinidad (Nadine) and Jason Trinidad (Natasha); his great grandchildren, Aidan Trinidad, Althea Trinidad, Christian DeStefano and Sebastian DeStefano; and his nieces and nephews, Dan Van Alstine, Ken Van Alstine, Bill Fenton, Lorraine Whalen, Christine Denton, Donna West and Robert O'Keefe.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Red Cross.
