We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2022, at the age of 83, Sarah J. Olmsted of Meridian, New York, born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon J. Salomon and Jenny Myrick Salomon; her son Mark Olmsted; and her brothers, Larry Salomon and Chuck Salomon.

She is survived by: her husband Russell Olmsted; her children, Cheryl Olmsted-Block (Rolland Schmidt) of Cato and Craig Olmsted (Diane) of Meridian; her sister Sadie Fox of Camillus; her grandchildren, Matthew Olmsted, Nathan Olmsted, Melissa Block-Gallup (Jody) and Michael Block (Brandilyn Townsend); and her great grandchildren, Lennox, Blake, Nina and Gabriel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
