Donovan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donovan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Anastasia, Shane and Kyle; and his grandson Miles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the N. F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home (2039 Merrick Ave, Merrick, NY 11566). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Donovan's memory to cancer research organizations such as Angiosarcoma Awareness.
