He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie I. Maceli; his children, Ashley Maceli (Adam Craig), Taylor Maceli and Caitlyn Maceli (Alex Corigliano); his siblings, Monica O'Leary (late John), John Maceli (Alison) and Edward Anthony Maceli; and his close friend Presley.

“Years ago, while a student at Queens College, I was hired by Tony to work at the bookstore. What began as a simple part-time job turned into a whole new set of friends for me and Tony was one of them. I remember him telling me he wanted to move to San Diego and buy a bookstore. Unfortunately, we lost contact at about that time. Oddly, I thought of him yesterday and did a Google search. I am terribly sorry for your loss. May the wonderful memories last a lifetime.”
