He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wallis and Marion Schreiber Wallis; and his sister Ellen. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Wallis (Bonnie) of Mexico, Dorothy Rose (David) of Mexico, Earl Wallis (Sylvia) of Pulaski, Cheryl Lawton (Jim) of Oswego, Raymond Wallis of Pulaski and Mark Wallis (Connie) of Mexico; and his pet Yancy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
