In loving memory of Francis W. Fidler Sr. of Mexico, New York, who departed this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Francis leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fidler and Merle Witt Fidler; and his siblings, Burt, Jake, William, Edward and Nettie Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dutcher Fidler; and his children, Gloria Ouderkirk (Don Bartlett), Francis W. Fidler Jr., Cynthia Haney (Patrick), Christine Myers (Dennis), Leslie Metteson (John) and William Fidler (Shauna). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren along with several great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. - Mexico (9 Washington Ave, Mexico, NY 13114). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mexico VFW.
