Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Williamson and Hazel Williamson of West Leyden; his wife Frances V. Nellenback of West Leyden; and his sister Patricia A. Pocchiari (Dick). He is survived by: his children, June M. Halsey (Todd) of Palermo, Richard H. Williamson (Bridget) and Michael J. Williamson (Kate); and his siblings, Jerry Williamson (Gwen) of Camden, Ronald Williamson (Krit) of Boonville, Daniel "Doc" Williamson (Debbie) of Ava, Joanie Klingbail (Ian) of West Leyden and Sally Ortlieb (Steve) of West Leyden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harter Funeral Home (9 Washington Ave, Mexico, NY 13114). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
