She was predeceased by: her husband Peter J. Mitchell. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen (Timmy) and Patricia (Danny); her grandchildren, Amanda, Kelsey, Kaylee, Timothy and Kamryn; her siblings, Sean Gallogly and Patsy Curtin (Peter); and her sister-in-law Margaret Brennan (Seamus). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michaels Funeral Home (79-22 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:45 AM at the St. Margaret R. C. Church (6605 79th Pl, Middle Village, NY 11379). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hl Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the New York Irish Center, Long Island City, New York—an organization Bridie deeply loved and supported for many years.
